Jhirna FRH is located inside the Jhirna Zone on the southern boundary of Jim Corbett National Park, approximately 20 kilometres from Ramnagar. Entry is through the Dhela Gate.

There are 4 rooms in total, all with double beds and attached bathrooms. Extra bed facility is available on request.

A cook is available at the rest house but guests must bring their own raw ingredients, groceries, spices, and cooking oil from outside the park. Only vegetarian food is permitted.

Day safaris are open throughout the year, though safaris are not permitted on rainy days. Night stays are available only from 15th November to 14th June.
