The Rukhad Zone is located on the southern side of Pench National Park and is one of the newer zones opened for tourism. It lies near the Seoni region of Madhya Pradesh.
The zone consists of dense forests, grasslands, and natural water bodies that support diverse wildlife. Animals such as the powerful Bengal Tiger, leopards, wild dogs, gaur, and various species of deer can be found here. The forests also provide a habitat for many birds and smaller mammals.
