The Karmajhiri Zone is another important safari gate of Pench National Park and is located near Khawasa village in the Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh. It lies close to the core forest region of the reserve.
The forests in this zone are dominated by teak, bamboo, and mixed dry deciduous vegetation. Karmajhiri is home to a wide variety of wildlife including the powerful Bengal Tiger, leopards, sloth bears, wild dogs, and herbivores such as spotted deer and sambar. Birdwatchers can also enjoy spotting several resident and migratory bird species here.
