Location: The Dhikala Zone is one of the most sought-after areas of Jim Corbett National Park. Located deep within the park, this zone offers an unmatched experience of wildlife viewing. The entry point for Dhikala is via the Dhangari Gate, which is around 30 km from Ramnagar.

Flora and Fauna: Dhikala is known for its diverse landscapes, including grasslands, riverine forests, and dense sal trees. The Chaur, or grasslands of Dhikala, offer a perfect vantage point to spot herds of elephants and deer, especially the Chital (spotted deer) and Sambar. It’s also home to the majestic Bengal tiger. Other notable species include leopards, crocodiles in the Ramganga River, and over 500 species of birds, making it a paradise for birdwatchers.
