Location:
The Jhilmil Zone is located near Haridwar and is best known for the Jhilmil Jheel Conservation Reserve, a wetland area within Rajaji National Park.
Flora and Fauna:
This zone’s unique wetlands make it a haven for birdwatchers. Migratory birds such as bar-headed geese, ruddy shelducks, and cormorants flock here, especially during the migration season. The wetlands also support elephants, sambar deer, and wild boars.
