Dhikala Forest Rest House

Surrounded by greens on all sides, Dhikala forest Rest House is a paradise to be in. Built in 1936, the Dhikala forest rest house is situated on the periphery of the river Ramganga. It offers the most picturesque view of the foothills of Garhwal and Kumaon.

If you often wander for the lust of Indian Wildlife, Dhikala FRH should top your list. Dhikala is one of the major zones of Jim Corbett National Park. This is one of the few guest houses which offers all the basic accommodation facilities.

In the heart of Jim Corbett, Dhikala Zone offers a range of wildlife experiences where one can just follow the lead of nature. Dhikala Forest Rest House is the perk lodging of this Dhikala zone, managed by the Forest Department, Corbett National Park.

From Dhangadi gate to Dhikala Forest Lodge itself is a life of adventure. The 1-hour ride has the self-explanatory discovery of Spotted Deer, Elephants, Leopards, Tuskers, Fishing owls and tigers.

Dhikala is home to the Royal Tiger of Bengal and you do not want to miss the adventure of exploring mammals, reptiles and other species with your naked eyes.

Many times you get to see animals from the Dhikala Forest Rest House campus itself.
