Location:
Moharli Zone is one of the oldest and most well-known zones in Tadoba, located near Chandrapur. It is easily accessible and serves as one of the main entry points into the reserve.
Flora and Fauna:
Moharli boasts a rich diversity of wildlife, making it the best zone for tiger sightings. The mix of bamboo thickets and Teak forests creates an ideal habitat for tigers, leopards, and sloth bears. Besides tigers, visitors can often spot Indian gaur, wild dogs (dhole), and spotted deer. The Tadoba Lake located in this zone attracts a variety of bird species, including painted storks, kingfishers, and eagles.
